
Statement of Purpose
Oral Roberts University seeks to educate students who exemplify a whole person lifestyle in that they are desirous of developing not just intellectually, but emotionally, spiritually and physically. We are looking for well-rounded students who dream of furthering their education, where they will emerge as servant leaders who are spiritually alive, intellectually alert, physically disciplined, socially adept and professionally competent.
The Whole Person Scholarship Program has been established to recognize students who model the Whole Person concept. Scholarship recipients will demonstrate the following:
- Christian Worldview
- Lifestyle of Service
- Academic Achievement
- Leadership Ability
- Vision to Make a Life-Changing Impact on Others
- Healthy Lifestyle
Awards will range from $2,500 to full tuition and are renewable for up to four years. These awards will be valued from $10,000 - $75,000 over a four year period depending on tuition rates.
25 Full Tuition Scholarships will be made available to new Fall 2009 freshmen and transfer students.
